About their day …

Chelsie and Brad held both their beautiful ceremony and incredible reception at Shady Elms Farm in Hickory, PA.  If there was one Pittsburgh area venue that was perfect for this wedding, Shady Elms Farm was it.  The decor was spectacular.  From the arrangements of flowers done by Shady Elms Farm, the greenery and antique books on the tables, to the over the top cookie table, it was a photographer’s dream!  Their signature drink was a Moscow Mule and Chelsie and Brad ordered hundreds of copper mugs for the event.  We had a blast using them as a fun prop during their portraits.  Chelsie’s beautiful soft bridal look was paired with blue suits for the guys and amazing mismatched bridesmaids decked out in sequin, glitter, and golden colors.  From start to finish, the look of this wedding was one gorgeous detail after another.  Chelsie and I spent a lot of time talking about her details and what they had planned so it was no surprise to me how incredible it all turned out.  They sucessfully planned their Pittsburgh wedding from Chicago which is super impressive.  We met the year before taking some fun engagement photos in the fall during one of their trips back to the ‘burgh.

What I loved most …

Chelsie and Brad have an incredible affection, devotion, and love for one another and not only could you see it but you could feel it throughout the day.  They opted for a first look (which is always a favorite of mine), and their reaction to each other was priceless.  They each wrote their own personal vows for their ceremony and it was simply perfect.  I absolutely loved how they interacted, how they looked at one another, and how they just beamed with pure joy.  You knew that they had married their best friend.

Chelsie and Brad, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day.  I absolutely loved getting to know you both and had the best time planning the last minute details with you.  Thank you for your trust, your kind words, and the incredible chocolate tower you sent me!  It certainly didn’t last long in my house 😉  I wish you both a lifetime full of love and blissful happiness.
