HILTON GARDEN INN SOUTHPOINTE WEDDING

Elana and Bill were married at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe.  I was so excited for their big day.  This wedding, this couple, this family, from start to finish was just incredible.  I’ve known Elana’s family for quite some time.  Her wonderful Mom has been supporting my photography from the VERY beginning!  I even photographed Elana’s beautiful sister, Hana’s, senior photos a few years ago.  When Elana and Bill got engaged and her Mom reached out to me, I was jumping for joy.  I met Elana and Bill shortly after for a meeting.  I love meeting with my couples ahead of time because it gives us an opportunity to see if we are a good fit.  We immediately hit it off and our working relationship was wonderful!  We set up an engagement session shortly after and my goodness, it was amazing.  If you want to see their North Shore engagement session, check it out HERE!!

Elana and Bill opted for a first look.  I love first looks!  I talk about them often and so when my couples opt for one, I secretly jump for joy.  It gave us some time for photos of the bridal party prior to the ceremonies as well.  The courtyard area of the Hilton Garden Inn gave us some great variety for portraits.

There is nothing more wonderful the day of the wedding than tradition and faith.  With their families and close friends, Elana and Bill had their Ketubah signing prior to exchanging vows in-front of their 200+ guests outside in the courtyard.  Now, you all know I’m a hopeless romantic, and I’d be lying if I said I don’t cry at weddings, but this ceremony moved me so much.  I cried.  I cried multiple times!  It was so incredible to witness such a beautiful tradition.  My absolute favorite photos of the ceremony were of Elana’s mom and mother in law veiling her and then a close moment between Elana and her mom moments after.  Ok, now I’m crying again!  Tradition and faith are a beautiful thing.

If you are considering a wedding ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn Cannonsburg, you can’t go wrong.  The outdoor space is so beautiful and it was adorned with a lovely Chuppah for the exchange of vows and rings.  Elana and Bill wrote beautiful words of their love for one another and during the ceremony, their Rabbi read the letters for the first time.  Typically you would hear two different versions and reasons for their love, but not Elana and Bill.  Their words for one another were so similar, it was as though they wrote it all together.  True love and most definitely a perfect match.

Elana and Bill’s families know how to throw an awesome party.  Their reception was SO MUCH FUN!  Jason Kendall Productions kept the guests dancing all night.  And let’s face it, there is nothing more fun than the Hora.  I’m pretty sure all of their guests were on the dance floor to celebrate.

Weather permitting, this is always something I suggest to my couples.  If we have just 5 minutes, it’s totally worth sneaking out for.  We had a beautiful sunset the evening of their wedding day and the love and romance behind their images were just amazing.
