RUSTIC ACRES FARM WEDDING

If there is one word that I could use to describe Holly and Mikey, it would be FUN.  They are SO much fun to be around.  They remind me much of myself and my husband.  They are constantly laughing and generally having a great time together.  We met at their engagement session in the Strip District earlier in the year and after their session I knew we would have so much fun together.

WEDDING CEREMONY AT RUSTIC ACRES

Holly and Mikey’s wedding at Rustic Acres Farm was gorgeous.  JPC Event group does an incredible job with the decor and the atmosphere and grounds there are never disappointing.  They had planned on holding their ceremony under the willow tree on the grounds, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.  They took the change in stride though, still with huge smiles on their faces.

PORTRAITS AT RUSTIC ACRES FARM

The grounds of Rustic Acres Farm has so much to offer.  From the willow trees, to the pond, and the beautiful fields, we had so much variety to utilize the space.  While Holly and Mikey did not have a first look, we still took time prior to the ceremony for portraits.  We simply made sure each one of them were hidden and tucked away before the other came out side for portraits.  This structure in the timeline was super helpful.  We started with Mikey’s side.  I say ‘side’ because I can’t say Mikey and his groomsman because his lovely sisters stood with him as well as Holly’s best guy friends standing with her.  We finished up their portraits and then moved onto the Holly and her group.  We finished up just in time for the rain storm.  Luckily, after the storm we had some beautiful light for Holly and Mikey’s portraits.  We also lucked out and had an amazing sunset as well.

RUSTIC ACRES RECEPTION

Again, Rustic Acres and JPC Event Group really has a way of making a beautiful wedding even more so.  Holly opted out of bouquets and instead held a geometric cage filled with flowers and the girls carried floral wreaths.  It was so unique and just lovely.
