SUCCOP CONSERVANCY WEDDING

Melissa and Joe held their wedding ceremony and reception at the Succop Conservancy in Butler.  I probably sound like a broken record by now, but weddings at the Succop are always a favorite of mine!  Melissa and Joe’s wedding was my 3rd wedding of the season there and it was incredible.    We had the best time together at their ENGAGEMENT SESSION and so I was just really looking forward to their wedding day.  Melissa is incredibly sweet and Joe can literally make you laugh all day long.  The best combination for a couple to work with.

Prepping for the ceremony and festivities, Melissa and Joe both exchanged heartfelt cards, letters, and Melissa had a first look with her Dad.  If there would be an award for best reaction, he would win it – hands down.

WEDDING CEREMONY AT THE SUCCOP CONSERVANCY

Melissa and Joe selected the outside of the house as their ceremony at the Succop Conservancy.  With the beauty of the grounds there, they do provide you with options for your ceremony and while the willow tree and pond is quite lovely, I love the romantic feeling the outside of the house gives.  There is something about the bride entering the ceremony through the front doors of the house that gets me every . single . time.  If I had to take a guess, Melissa’s entrance really got Joe.  The jokester turned into mush when he saw his beautiful bride.

Spring, summer, and fall all have different looks here in Pittsburgh and the Succop looks beautifully different during each season.  Ending the fall wedding season there was a wonderful way to close up the fall season.  The texture of the trees, the golden sunset, paired with this wonderful couple made for some great portraits.  While they had a fantastic day with the weather, the sun was a bit tricky!  We had to literally chase the sunlight to get the photos we wanted at sunset.  It was worth every minute of it.

Melissa’s long time friend and Joe’s son gave heartfelt toasts and with their guests, they danced the night away.

Melissa and Joe, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your day.  Keep loving and continue to laugh (kinda hard not to with Joe around) – you guys are the best.
