PITTSBURGH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
TREESDALE COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING
Mallory and Jonathan had a beautiful spring wedding. I met them both last fall for their ENGAGEMENT SESSION at Hartwood Acres. That is also where I met and fell in love with Penny, their precious little pup. You’ll see her showcased as the dog of honor later on here.
MOUNT SAINT PETER’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
What I love most about Pittsburgh weddings are the churches. I mean, we really do have some amazingly beautiful churches here in the area and Mount Saint Peter’s Roman Catholic Church did not disappoint. Quite honestly, it took my breath away when I went inside. It has such beauty and character. Mallory and Jonathan opted for what I called a ‘faux-first-look’. They wanted to exchange letters prior to the ceremony but without seeing each other. Done and done! We selected a beautiful entry in front of a stained glass window for their meeting.
TREESDALE COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING PORTRAITS
Their reception was held at the Treesdale Country Club. The staff and coordinators there were so wonderful to work with and so accommodating! They had golf carts ready for us and took us out on the course for their portraits. Mallory and Jonathan’s number one request for their bridal party group photos was a champagne bottle popping shot. After some discussion and planning, they nailed it. I mean, I ended up with champagne on my suit jacket. Safe to say we totally got the shot.
In typical Pittsburgh weather fashion, it was warm and sunny early in the day and turned bitter cold by evening. Thankfully, Treesdale Golf Course has a beautiful area for portraits close to the Country Club and Mallory and Jonathan were total champs and braved the cold for some beautiful portraits.
WEDDING RECEPTION AT THE TREESDALE COUNTRY CLUB
Mallory literally had tears of joy when she walked into the reception area at the country club. Rightfully so. Dee did an absolutely amazing job with the decor, the table set up, and the romantic ambiance of the room. I mean, you really can’t go wrong with candles, greens, and pink sequin table runners and linens.
They made the rest of my job pretty darn easy for the rest of the night as everyone was up on the dance floor having an absolute blast. It’s really hard not to join in on the fun when they are having such a good time.
Mallory and Jonathan, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your incredible day together. I loved working with you both over this past year and cannot wait to see you both again. xoxo
