CONNEAUT LAKE WEDDING

Alexis and CJ had a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony at the beautiful St. Agatha Church in Meadville, PA followed by an elegant wedding reception at the Hotel Conneaut on Conneaut Lake.  Alexis and her girls all got ready at Hotel Conneaut prior to the ceremony.  I spoke with Alexis prior to the wedding day about her details, including her dress.  While I knew going into the day that this was really going to be THE dress, words simply could never do it justice.  Seriously, jaw dropping and it fit Alexis like a glove.  She was head-to-toe perfection.  Judging by CJ’s reaction to her walking down the aisle, I think he would agree.

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for our portrait hour following the ceremony.  We made it back to the hotel just in time for a downpour and a drop in temperature.  Alexis and CJ took the time to enjoy some of their cocktail hour on the outdoor patio with their guests.  And then, all of a sudden, the rain stopped and for a mere 20 minutes, we were able to sneak out for some portraits.

Classic, elgant, and so much style.  The decor for their reception was a Pinterest pinner’s dream.  After some dancing, Alexis snuck out to change into her second dress for the night which was another stunner.  Every detail was so carefully and tastefully planned and their guests had a blast.
