BEST OF 2018: THE COUPLE

If you follow my work on Facebook or Instagram, you know that I am heavy on the couples’ portraits. There’s no denying my love for romance, love, and connection. My favorite part of the wedding day is taking the time with my couples to photograph their portraits. This is for the most part, the only time during the day that they have alone together. I mean, I’m there too, but technically I don’t count. I’m not a bridesmaid, a groomsman, a parent, a wedding guest, wanting to talk to them about their day. I’m simply there to photograph their love and connection.

I really lucked out again this past year. I had another fantastic year filled with couples who were genuinely THE nicest couples to work with. Quite honestly, they make my job super easy.

When I meet with potential couples, a very typical comment that I hear is, ‘your couples look like they are SO in love.’ That’s the best compliment I can get. I mean, they ARE in love, but I have a way to really capture that love.

To all of my 2018 couples, thank you for an incredible year. Without your continued trust and support, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
