The Villa Banquet Hall Wedding
Sianna and Mike had a traditional church ceremony at Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City, followed by a reception at The Villa in New Castle, PA. They were my last wedding of 2019 and it is weddings like theirs that truly remind me why I am so grateful for this job.
I met Sianna and her Mom the year before during the planning process and we immediately hit it off. I love meeting with my brides ahead of time. It’s a good way to get to know eachother and determine if we are a good fit in working together.
Sianna and her girls got ready at her parent’s house. After a sip of champagne, a letter from Mike, some happy tears, and a first look with Dad, we were off to the church. The church was conveniently around the block, but thankfully Sianna’s Dad gave them all a ride. They showed up in style, in their vintage VW van. A photographer’s dream!!
After their lovely ceremony and family photos, we headed to a nearby golf course for some portraits before arriving for their reception. While blue skies and green grass and trees are always lovely, there is something incredibly romantic about the foliage during the winter months. It is arguably, my favorite look for portraits. And with the girls, all in sequin and denim jackets, this wedding was full of style.
Their reception was so much fun! They had the most touching first dances with their parents followed by a jam packed dance floor for the rest of the evening. Like I said, it was the best way to end the wedding season.
