Gosh, it’s been a looooong time since I’ve been here, but I’m back!!! I considered sliding back in here as if nothing had been going on, but felt the need to acknowledge that I haven’t written here on the blog in almost eight months. It’s okay. Things happen. In fact, A LOT has happened here in the last eight months!

Content Creating During a Pandemic

I had big lofty goals during this pandemic that were centered around blogging, email lists, and content. The fact is, I only focused on one of them. If I’m being completely honest, I still have no idea how to create or run an email list. But anyways, with kids at home and having to put the business on hold back in March, mentally, I could only focus on so much. I hunkered down and dedicated my time writing to my daily content.

I never missed a beat there! It was business as usual here … or so it looked. Every day I shared new content, repurposed content, and continued to provide as much value as I could.

I Reached a Major Goal

I’ll get into more detail about my journey of reaching my big major goal of 2020, but to keep this short and sweet – I opened my own photography studio. Opening a photography studio during a pandemic posed a pretty big risk. Thankfully, for my business, ended up being an incredibly big reward.

I’ve been working for the last two years to transition my business from full time Pittsburgh wedding photographer to full time Pittsburgh Brand Photographer. It’s safe to say that I’ve made that transition. I’m incredibly thankful to all of my clients who have helped me make this dream a true reality.
