The Loveliest was THE best coffee and clothes space in the Sewickley area. Unfortunately, at the start of the pandemic, Kathryn’s building was sold and she sadly had to close. Major doors have been opened for her since then, but before she closed her doors, I was thrilled to be a part of her Monday networking group. Every Monday she organized meetings with other female business owners and entrepreneurs. She created an incredible community of women during that time!

Pittsburgh Content Workshop

Together, we hosted a content workshop. Kathryn talked to the ladies about all things Instagram. She’s the queen of IG! I was, of course, in charge of all things photography. I loved creating content for each one of the ladies who attended. From headshots, to product shots, and fun flat lays, it was a blast!

Content Planning

Prior to the workshop, I reached out to each individual attendee to learn a little bit about their business, product, or service via a short questionnaire. It’s super important to have a plan in place, even for the smallest of sessions. I always aim to provide value to those I get to work with and without proper planning, I cannot provide that value when working together. I love learning about goals, visions, and expectations when it comes to my client’s photos and their sessions with me.

The Final Product

The attendees received a full gallery of edited images that they were able to download and use for their social media content. Aside from the images, we brought together a group of female business owners. Spending the day in community, supporting one another, learning about one another, was incredibly inspirational. In time, I hope that we can all get back together to do just that. This workshop was such a hit that I plan to bring it back in 2021. Stay tuned!
