Made For Mama Shop

Made For Mama Shop is a female owned business based here in Pittsburgh, PA. Mindy, the owner, creates hand lettered, campfire mugs, geared toward making you feel cozy, grateful, and loved each morning while enjoying your cup of coffee. She individually packages, by hand, each order. The feeling of gratitude and love starts when you open that package.

Mindy and I connected back in July through a local female owned business Facebook group. I was in the process of opening my studio and she was looking for other businesses to collaborate with. I looked up her business and immediately knew that I needed to photograph her products in my studio. She was in the process of needing to completely rebrand as well as launch her new fall line of mugs. It was like a match made in Heaven.

Mindy’s mission and goal is to make you feel cozy when using her products and so my goal was to make you feel that way when visiting her site to shop her products. The use of colors, props, and textures allowed for just that. Visit her site and see for yourself: Made For Mama Shop

Mindy’s big national television debut

What I love about Mindy, and I think what really connects us, is her ability to put herself out there, to push forward, and to find new ways to grow. She created a product based business, no doubt, but Mindy has found a way to provide a service alongside her products that you won’t find anywhere else … and that is community. You feel it when you visit her site, her social media channels, and when you open that hand-packaged product.

A couple of months ago, Mindy put herself out there and pitched her business and story to a segment on the Today Show titled, She Made It. A segment that highlights female owned businesses and how they have successfully impacted their community, it was no surprise that she was selected. Her incredible line of cozy holiday mugs was the perfect fit for the segment that aired last Thursday as we head into the holiday shopping season.
